Hello pixels, I’m Manuel. In this section, I should tell you a bit about myself to give you an overview of the project, so here it goes:

Relevant things:

• I make videos
• I write
• I also create animations
• I have 2 (two) YouTube channels that post identical content, one in my native language (Spanish) and the other in English. This page can also be translated as desired and piacere
• I have just 1 account for all other social media platforms

Not-so-relevant things:

• I don’t make a living from videos or animations
• My day job involves programming stuff and analyzing numbers

About: AboutManuel

This project was born many years ago. As of today, the oldest video is 7 years old. Truth is, creating that video took me several more years of self-convincing and overcoming personal challenges.

Years passed, and for reasons that kept changing (and at some point became excuses), I never really found myself in my truly creative version.

I enjoy expressing myself and sharing what I learn because sometimes it can also be useful to others. Initially, I did this by writing random things because it was what I knew. Today, I create articles that turn into videos, and sometimes I also make animations. I don’t do this as a job; it’s a hobby and a passion for art, as they say.

I hope something you see or read here is helpful to you, and thank you for passing by.

AboutManuel was born from the desire to share experiences and knowledge I wish I had earlier or believe can be learned in simpler ways. We’re all on a personal growth journey, and while we may have people close to us who can guide us through parts of it, there are areas where we feel alone or lack mentors.

Today, the internet largely solves this by allowing us to learn from many people with diverse experiences and lives. Sometimes, we need someone to show us there’s more out there.

In that sense, I feel I owe a lot to “the internet,” and AboutManuel is a way to give back some of that.
