Expectations

You need to have a ton of expectations for yourself. Bet all your chips on you. Because, unlike what happens with others, you can control your own behavior. Your mom’s behavior, no. Your cat’s behavior, the one that lets the neighbor pet it, no either.

Do you know how many times I started writing and ended up tearing up the page? Or closing the tab? Technology.

No, you don’t know, but it’s a lot. Sometimes life is about that. Starting and starting again. Until what needs to go well goes well.

It’s very difficult to write something coherent when your head processes a thousand silly things at the same time. I know I would be a great freestyler if I didn’t stutter and my tongue didn’t get stuck like when the clutch jams.

Sometimes you need to disappear from everywhere to understand what you’re doing. Today we have a shiny world where everything has lights and colors that distract you. It’s very hard to concentrate. To concentrate on oneself. And not in a selfish way, because anyone crosses the street on a red light to get home quickly.

People don’t know themselves. They don’t know what they do. They don’t know what they want. They don’t know what they like. They know nothing.

If you know what you want, you’re weird. You’re a fool for not doing what everyone else does, who doesn’t know what they do.
